A group of Quinnipiac University students heard the story of a man from Bawa who lost his mother on the long trek to the hospital while giving birth to his sister. He made it his mission to help his villagers never feel the pain that he felt. Together with the Bawa Health Initiative we are funding the building and sustainability of a health center in this village. With no health center within 6 miles, and no transportation, this facility will be equipped with 30 beds, a pharmacy, medical staff, and an ambulance. Not only will this facility help the 300 villagers of Bawa, but also surrounding villages. Last year we cleared the land for the health center by sending back $2,500. Together we can continue to make this dream a reality...simply by drinking our morning coffee. |

Christian Counseling Center
The Christian Counseling Center (C.C.C.) was founded in 1981 to provide qualified, professional counseling for the people in the greater Danbury area. It is a private, non-profit, interdenominational organization. Our therapists are professional clinicians and committed Christians dedicated and sensitive to the emotional and spiritual needs of each client. We recognize that not all who seek help hold the same beliefs. Our commitment is to the community as a whole and as trained professionals we provide clinical treatment to anyone seeking help. What We Believe - Our Mission Statement Our guiding principle is the knowledge that the ultimate Healer is God and that we are instruments of this healing. We believe in the reality of inner healing. As disciples of Christ Jesus, we believe that through the ministry of the Holy Spirit combined with active, consistent prayer and honest reflection, anyone can experience profound changes within themselves and in their relationships. To this end, The C.C.C. combines professional education and experience with the anointing, wisdom, and power of the Holy Spirit. |

Community of the Cross
The Community of the Cross was founded in 1972 in an effort to create a place where Christians of many denominations could come together to share more fully in a life dedicated to Jesus. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available today and that Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with each of us. Our community is based on the principles of the first century church, where people's lives were intertwined with each other in a community setting and not just once a week in a church. We meet three nights a week, on Fridays at 8:30 pm, Sundays and Mondays at 8:00 pm at our chapel on Madison Ave.
